When a fulfillment record in NetSuite is marked with a “Packed” status, the connector triggers an automated payload that transmits all relevant item details directly from NetSuite to Global-e. No user intervention is required, and the transfer occurs within seconds of the packing action.

Automated Document Sync from Global-e Back to NetSuite

Challenge

Cross-border orders processed through Global-e require a precise set of documentation. Commercial invoices must reflect accurate product descriptions, harmonized system (HS) codes, and declared values.

The Solution

The Folio3 NetSuite and Global-e integration automates documentation by syncing data between the two platforms. Once Global-e generates shipping labels, commercial invoices, and tracking details, the connector automatically pulls this documentation back into NetSuite and associates it with the corresponding sales order or fulfillment record. Print jobs are routed through PrintNode.

NetSuite serves as the internal system of record for order management and customer service. Without integration, tracking information and shipment statuses reside in Global-e while customer service teams work out of NetSuite. This creates a visibility gap.

The Solution

The Folio3 NetSuite and Global-e connector establishes a continuous, real-time synchronization loop for order statuses, tracking information, and shipment events. Using webhooks and API calls, Global-e pushes tracking updates to the connector, which then writes this data to the corresponding fields in NetSuite.
