In the face of agricultural industry volatility characterized by unpredictable market prices and supply chain disruptions, ADM recognized the need for a robust ERP across its international operations. To strengthen operational resilience, they approached Folio3 for a NetSuite implementation. This implementation presented significant challenges, as the regional teams had limited prior experience with the NetSuite platform.

ADM Agriculture was having a challenge in implementing ERP for its Asian subsidiaries.

Solution

Folio3 successfully configured and implemented NetSuite SuiteSuccess Financials First for ADM Agriculture, streamlining key process areas. For Record to Report, the setup included general accounting, subsidiary management, fiscal close processes, and bank feeds via SaltEdge. In Procure to Pay, Folio3 managed vendor and employee data, purchase orders, vendor payments, and implemented two custom bank formats, along with a 3-way match workflow. The Order to Cash process covered customer data, sales orders, invoices, and a one-level sales invoice approval workflow. Additionally, Folio3 configured Design to Build with a basic item master and ensured seamless financial reporting and analytics, including KPIs and standard reports. NetSuite was also integrated to facilitate electronic payment file transfers to an SFTP site.
