Cooperative Computing was previously using Xero for invoicing, Wave and QuickBooks for accounting, Hub Planner and JIRA for project management, and Pipedrive for CRM.

The Challenge

CC relied on multiple disconnected systems like Xero for invoicing, Wave and QuickBooks for accounting, Hub Planner and JIRA for project management, and Pipedrive for CRM.
Their disconnected systems caused delays in financial reporting and operational processes.
CC did not have a consolidated platform to manage intercompany transactions and multi-subsidiary accounting.
Due to legacy systems in place, they were unable to generate division-wise profit and loss reports.
Revenue scheduling was done manually, resulting in human errors.
Project profitability tracking was limited.

Solution

To eliminate the inefficiency of multiple disconnected systems, Folio3 implemented NetSuite for Cooperative Computing with the following approach:

Configured general accounting, COA, departments, locations, subsidiaries, journal entries, fiscal close, bank feeds, and advanced financials.
Enabled advanced revenue management with deferred revenue tracking, scheduling, and multi-book accounting.
Set up consolidated financial statements and segmentation-wise financial reporting.
Implemented project management features, including project profitability, multi-invoicing, and task tracking.
Configured procurement workflows: vendor masters, purchase orders, receipts, bills, payments, credits, prepayments, and purchasing reports.
Established customer master data, sales orders, invoices, payments, and credit memos.
Developed inventory and non-inventory item masters.
Customized NetSuite financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, ledgers, trial balances, transaction details, payables, and receivables) aligned to CC’s reporting needs.
