Walmart Connector and delivered a fully automated solution to reduce manual tasks. This integration enabled automated sync of sales orders, order cancellations, inventory, and shipping details between Walmart and NetSuite. Additionally, it supported invoice creation for Walmart orders. Customizations were also implemented to accommodate Walmart Fulfilled orders (WFS) orders, assembly items, and lot-numbered items.

The NetSuite Walmart Connector was the ideal solution for Door County Coffee and helped address the challenges with:

  • Automated import of Walmart sales orders into NetSuite
  • Creation of invoices in NetSuite for Walmart orders
  • Syncing of inventory quantity from NetSuite to Walmart
  • Syncing of order status and shipping information from NetSuite to Walmart
  • Making an item out of stock in Walmart by updating inventory to zero in NetSuite

In addition to the above-mentioned standard functionality, Door County Coffee wanted the following features supported in the integration, which required customization.

  • Import  orders into NetSuite as open invoices.
  • Support for assembly type NetSuite items in connector’s data flows.
  • Sync assembly items to Walmart as simple products.
  • Available inventory for assembly items for Merchant Fulfilled listings based on finished goods stock in NetSuite.
  • Support for lot numbered items in connector’s data flows.
  • For  orders, set inventory details upon invoice creation.
