Summary

Massif, a leader in high-quality flame-resistant apparel, partnered with Folio3 to integrate its operations with NetSuite. Before the integration, Massif faced challenges with delays and inefficiencies caused by manual data syncing. By implementing Folio3’s NetSuite Connector, they automated these processes and synchronyzed orders, inventory, pricing, and customer records. The integration was executed in two phases: initial sandbox testing followed by live deployment, which included comprehensive quality assurance and user acceptance testing (UAT).

The Challenge

Massif encountered several challenges due to manual processes and insufficient automation between its operations and NetSuite. 

  • Manual import of orders into NetSuite caused delays in order processing and fulfillment status updates.
  • Absence of automatic synchronization led to inaccurate tracking of inventory levels, pricing, and product details such as descriptions and images.

The solution to Massif’s challenges was integrating their WooCommerce platform with NetSuite through the Folio3 NetSuite WooCommerce Connector. This integration allowed data to flow smoothly between WooCommerce and NetSuite and significantly minimized errors. Key solutions that addressed these challenges included:

Customizations Implemented

In addition to the above-mentioned standard functionality, Massif wanted the following features to be supported in the integration, which required customization.

  • Mapping of custom fields between NetSuite and WooCommerce (the same custom NetSuite fields that Massif currently has mapped as part of their NetSuite Magento integration).
