Summary

Wrigleyville is a one-stop-shop for all Chicago sports fans selling authentic and licensed merchandise and items. Wrigleyville boasts the biggest and best selection of Cubs, Bears, Sox, Bulls, and Blackhawks gear available. Folio3 seamlessly integrated Wrigleyville’s Amazon Seller Center with its back-office NetSuite ERP to enable a streamlined flow of data between the two systems.

The Challenge

Wrigleyville also utilizes Amazon as one of their front end channels apart from their own web store and to sync information from the Amazon account to their NetSuite ERP system they had to resort to manual data entry. The entire process of synchronizing the data between the two disparate systems manually took up a lot of time and effort.

Solution

Folio3’s proprietary NetSuite Amazon Connector is an Integration-as-a-Service product that allows end-to-end automation & seamless integration between Oracle’s NetSuite ERP system and the Amazon Seller Central accounts. Wrigleyville was able to completely automate processes and integrate the two systems from end-to-end ultimately boosting productivity and saving valuable time and effort.

Folio3’s NetSuite Amazon Integration connector enabled Wrigleyville Sports to create a seamless end-to-end integration between their Amazon store and NetSuite ERP system, allowing them to focus on other business areas like sales, customer experience, etc. The standard features for the connector included:

  • Import Sales Orders from Amazon to NetSuite.
  • Import Customers from Amazon to NetSuite.
  • Export Item data from NetSuite to Amazon (as Amazon listings).
  • Payment/Invoice sync from Amazon to NetSuite.
  • Export Inventory Quantity from NetSuite to Amazon.
  • Export Sales Price from NetSuite to Amazon.
  • Export Order Status and Shipping info from NetSuite to Amazon (for FBM orders).
  • Import Order Cancellations from Amazon to NetSuite.
  • Mark items as ‘Out Of Stock’ on Amazon from NetSuite.

Apart from the standard vanilla feature set of the connector, Folio3 also implemented some specific customizations tailored for Wrigleyville Sports’ processes. The customizations were:

  • The ability to delist Amazon item listings in bulk, from NetSuite.
  • Fulfillment status and shipping/tracking information (for fulfilled Amazon FBM orders) to be synchronized on a pre-set time (for e.g. 6 pm PDT), from NetSuite to Amazon, rather than in real-time.
  • Set up an error notification mechanism so any errors during data synchronization are reported via automated emails sent to specific people.
  • A feature to synchronize the bulleted list of item features from the “Featured Description” field in NetSuite, as a bulleted list in the “Key Product Features” field, in Amazon Seller Central.

Folio3’s NetSuite Amazon Integration connector is Built for NetSuite, therefore it is completely secure while complying with all the standards and practices set by NetSuite as well.

Result

Folio3’s NetSuite Amazon Integration connector enabled Wrigleyville Sports to fully integrate their Amazon Seller Central account and NetSuite back-office system, and automated the data flow between the systems eliminating any wastages in time and admin effort spent on manual data entry.

The connector formed a holistic system for the organization to monitor and manage end-to-end operations and processes across the organization. The seamless flow of data and end-to-end integration allows Wrigleyville to divert resources towards other business areas critical to sustaining growth.
