SuiteWorld is the annual conference for NetSuite partners and customers from around the world. In adherence to safety precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic, SuiteWorld 2020 was unfortunately canceled, and we were unable to have our annual meet and greet with current and potential customers. However, with restrictions eased, the conference was held again last week at the Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, with the option to join both virtually and in person. The event took place live from the 18th-21st October, and the sessions are still available virtually with a subscription to SuiteWorld on Air.
SuiteWorld 2021 opened with the all-day Hackathon4Good challenge, along with a Partner Summit. Combined with the Welcome Reception on the same day, these events gave all attendees ample opportunity to mingle, get acquainted, and brainstorm right from the get-go.
The conference continued to provide a platform for networking within the NetSuite community over the next few days. Interaction with other NetSuite providers proved to be a stimulating experience as always, as everyone benefited from the combination of different experiences and ideas.
The theme for the conference this year was “Power Your Growth”, focused on the current popularity of superheroes. Various characters, dubbed the “Superheroes of Finance”, were used as a metaphor for the different features offered by Oracle NetSuite, with live appearances at the event. The features that were focused on were:
- Captain Finance – ERP
- Intangible Girl – Finance
- Forecasting Man – Financial Planning
- Inspector Sku – Inventory Management
- Doctor Cogs – Supply Chain Management
These features combined with four announcements made by NetSuite, introducing innovations that would improve how modern businesses work.
The announcements were:
- Suite Banking
- NetSuite Analytics Warehouse
- NetSuite Advanced Customer Support Playbooks.
The fourth was a summary of the aforementioned, along with details of some additional features that had been rolled out in their latest release (NetSuite 2021.2).
Folio3 were one of the exhibitors at the event and with the growing attention that Folio3 has gotten as an Alliance Partner, it was a great occasion to meet existing customers, new prospects, and other NetSuite partners. Furthermore, it was (as always) great to hear from our previous clients. We cherished the opportunity to catch up with old faces and get extensive feedback on how our solution was working for their business. Hearing their positive reviews was heartwarming. We were pleased to see many new faces as well.
Being a notable NetSuite Alliance Partner, Folio3 received a lot of traffic from business owners and representatives. Our on-ground team provided consultations to help them ascertain how Oracle NetSuite can benefit their business, the steps they should take to make the most out of a NetSuite implementation, and so forth.
The conference has a lot more to offer, however, than just networking opportunities. Several keynotes and sessions were conducted by revered experts, providing insight on important aspects of the industry. The talk conducted also covered the future of the ERP and what innovations to expect from here on out. A special shout-out was given to strong female roles and their contribution to the industry with a session on Women’s Leadership. All these sessions provided an update on the NetSuite community, how it has been functioning in recent times, and what to expect going forward. It was much needed after a year of distance, and we were all grateful to be able to participate.
