ACUMATICA TO NETSUITE MIGRATION
Folio3 helps you migrate from Acumatica to NetSuite by mapping your Acumatica records, fields, relationships, and business structures to their appropriate NetSuite counterparts. Where structures differ, we define transformation rules, test the results, and validate the migrated data before production cutover, so your day-to-day operations don’t get disrupted.
Businesses transition from Acumatica to NetSuite to consolidate financial and operational processes, standardize workflows, improve reporting, and establish a centralized ERP environment.
Bring subsidiaries, legal entities, currencies, locations, and financial structures into a unified ERP environment. NetSuite supports centralized financial management and consolidated reporting across multiple entities.
Connect financial information with the operational processes that generate it. Manage finance, inventory, sales, purchasing, projects, and other business data within a more integrated ERP environment.
Establish consistent workflows, approvals, reporting structures, and financial processes across business units and entities instead of maintaining different processes in different environments.
Create a centralized reporting environment across entities, departments, locations, classes, and other dimensions relevant to your organization.
Use configurable workflows and automation to reduce manual work across approvals, transaction processing, notifications, insights extractions, and other recurring business activities.
We use a structured Acumatica-to-NetSuite migration approach that evaluates your existing Acumatica environment, prepares your data, aligns business processes with NetSuite, and validates the system before go-live.
We start by reviewing how Acumatica is currently configured and used across your organization. This gives our NetSuite migration experts a baseline for determining what should move to NetSuite, what should be redesigned, and what no longer needs to be carried forward. Our assessment covers the following:
After assessing the existing environment, we define how your organization will migrate from Acumatica to NetSuite. We establish a future-state roadmap that connects data migration with process and solution design. The roadmap addresses the following:
We analyze the data contained within your Acumatica environment. Your ERP environment could have records that you no longer actively use but still affect reporting and relationships. We assess the following:
At this stage, we reconsider how processes should work in NetSuite. This is why we compare the existing Acumatica processes with NetSuite capabilities across areas such as the following:
Our NetSuite migration specialists prepare Acumatica data according to the structure and business rules of the NetSuite environment. The migration preparation involves the following:
Some Acumatica functionalities are available natively in NetSuite, while other functionalities require a different design. We identify these differences before implementation and determine the most appropriate target-state solution. Potential approaches include the following:
Upgrading from Acumatica to NetSuite requires an assessment of the integrations surrounding the ERP. This is why we review the following:
We conduct multiple validation cycles before production cutover. Each cycle provides an opportunity to test the migration process using increasingly complete and representative Acumatica data. Testing focuses on the following:
At this stage, your key users validate the NetSuite environment using the processes they perform in their day-to-day roles. This ensures that the migration is evaluated from an operational perspective on top of a technical data perspective. User validation includes the following:
Our data migration specialists execute the production transition according to a detailed cutover plan that coordinates data, users, integrations, and business operations. The cutover sequence includes:
After NetSuite becomes the production ERP, we perform a full review to confirm that the migration has achieved the agreed objectives. Post-go-live validation includes the following:
We create a detailed mapping framework to map each Acumatica data object to its NetSuite counterpart. Since the two systems use different architectures, we establish mappings at both the field and business-object level.

Our team brings together NetSuite ERP expertise, platform migration experience, and a proven implementation methodology to help you make the transition from Acumatica to NetSuite with data accuracy and minimal operational disruption.
Folio3 supports your business throughout the ERP transition lifecycle, from migrating Acumatica data and reconfiguring business processes to implementing, customizing, and integrating NetSuite with your existing systems. We also assess AI readiness and identify opportunities to introduce AI-driven workflows, automation, and AI agents where they deliver practical business value.
Our team includes 30+ NetSuite migration specialists with experience working across ERP data structures, complex transaction histories, customizations, integrations, and multi-entity environments. We understand the challenges involved in translating Acumatica’s architecture and business processes into NetSuite.
Our team includes certified chartered accountants who understand the financial implications of an ERP transition. This allows us to address areas such as account structures, opening balances, subledgers, financial dimensions, tax requirements, reconciliations, and reporting as part of the migration process.
We apply structured data profiling, cleansing, transformation, mapping, reconciliation, and validation throughout the migration. This helps preserve relationships between Acumatica master data, open transactions, historical records, inventory, projects, and financial information as they are transitioned into NetSuite.
We assess how Acumatica is configured and how your teams use it today, then map those requirements against your desired NetSuite operating model. This allows us to distinguish between functionality that should be migrated, redesigned, replaced with native NetSuite capabilities, or retired.
Folio3 has helped growing businesses upgrade to NetSuite through end-to-end NetSuite migration services.
No matter which platform you migrate from, Folio3 is a trusted NetSuite implementation partner, and we have a proven track record.

On average, an Acumatica to NetSuite migration takes 1-3 months for small businesses, 4-6 months for mid-sized businesses, and 6+ months for complex migrations.
The project duration depends on factors such as the number of companies or subsidiaries, number of users, transaction volume, number of integrations, Acumatica customizations, reporting requirements, and other factors.
Folio3 has won NetSuite Spotlight awards for multiple NetSuite migration projects.

Yes. But the customizations themselves don’t get migrated. Acumatica customizations are built in C#/.NET and xRP, while NetSuite uses SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and custom records. We assess each customization and decide whether to rebuild it in NetSuite, replace it with native NetSuite functionality, or retire it because the underlying process is changing anyway.
Acumatica companies and branches map to NetSuite subsidiaries under OneWorld. But the mapping is rarely one-to-one. We assess whether your structure should be represented as subsidiaries, departments, classes, locations, or a combination, and whether your intercompany logic needs to be redesigned for NetSuite’s consolidation model.
Open receivables and payables migrate as open items with their original aging. That means your AR aging and AP aging in NetSuite reflect the same day as Acumatica on day one.
We scope the migration during assessment and provide a fixed-fee proposal based on the confirmed scope. Change requests outside the agreed scope are handled separately.
